Arctic Enterprises lawn tractors

In 1971, Arctic Enterprises, known for producing Arctic Cat snowmobiles, purchased General Leisure Products, previously called General Appliance, located in Omaha, Nebraska. General Appliance was known for manufacturing lawn mowers under several brand names such as Lawn Lion, Bonanza, Mow-Rite, Vacumaire, and Torque-o-matic. The Arctic brand was applied to these lawn mowers, and they were distributed through Arctic Cat dealerships. However, this endeavor did not succeed, and production of the mowers ceased in 1974.
