The Bolens G16XL is a garden tractor produced from 1979 to 1981 as part of the Medium Frame XL Series. It features a 16 hp Tecumseh OH160 453cc 1-cylinder gasoline engine with a horizontal shaft, paired with a Peerless 4-speed belt-driven gear transmission. The tractor has a two-wheel drive with manual steering and mechanical band brakes. It includes an open operator station with an optional vinyl soft-side cab. The tractor has a 49-inch wheelbase, weighs 810 lbs, and uses 16x6.50-8 front tires and 23x10.50-12 rear tires.
