Bolens HDT-1000
The Bolens HDT-1000 is a garden tractor produced from 1982 to 1985 as part of the Large Frame Series. It features a 22 hp Mitsubishi K3D 978cc 3-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine, shaft-driven hydrostatic Eaton 11 transmission with infinite forward and reverse speeds, and two-wheel drive with manual steering (power steering available from 1984). The tractor has a 52 inch wheelbase, measures 76 inches long, 38 inches wide, and 45 inches high, with 8.5 inches ground clearance. It rides on 18x8.50-8 front and 26x12-12 rear lawn/turf tires. Attachments include a 54 inch mid-mount mower deck. Electrical system is 12 volts with negative ground and alternator charging. The 2289S model added cruise control, power steering, and an auxiliary hydraulic oil cooler.
