Burns lawn tractors

In the early 1960s, Burns Manufacturing produced garden tractors in Louisville, Georgia. Established by Sam Burns as Burns Tool Corporation, the company was sold to Draper in 1960. Draper also owned Blue Jet and Penfield, and they manufactured a range of Burns and Penfield Suburban tractors. In 1964, Burns was sold again, with its tractor and tiller division acquired by Gilson.
