J.I. Case 648

The J.I. Case 648 is an industrial tractor produced from 1980 to 1988 as part of the 600 Series. It features an Onan 0.8L 2-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine producing 18 hp (13.4 kW). The tractor uses a Hy-Drive hydraulic transmission with infinite forward and reverse speeds in two ranges. It has two-wheel drive, power steering, mechanical band brakes, and an open operator station. Fuel capacity is 5 gallons (18.9 L), and the hydraulic system capacity varies between 3.25 gallons (12.3 L) for loader tractors and 5 gallons (18.9 L) for backhoe loaders. The tractor hitch is optional with a sleeve hitch type.
