J.I. Case W-5

The J.I. Case W-5 is a wheel loader produced from 1959 to 1962 by J.I. Case. It features a 57 hp (42.5 kW) engine available in both diesel and gasoline 3.1L 4-cylinder liquid-cooled inline configurations. The transmission is a 4-speed torque converter with 4 forward and reverse gears. The loader has two-wheel drive, power steering, mechanical disc brakes, and an open operator station with an optional cab. It has a fuel capacity of 18 gallons and a hydraulic system capacity of 8.5 gallons with an open center hydraulic system operating at 1260 psi. Dimensions include a 60 inch wheelbase, 173 inch length, 68.5 inch width, and 70 inch height at the steering wheel, weighing 9100 lbs. The front tires are 13.00x24 and rear tires 7.50x16.
