The J.I. Case 1490 is a utility tractor produced from 1980 to 1983 as part of the 90 Series. Built in Meltham Mills, Huddersfield, England, it features a 3.6L 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine producing 83 hp. It offers two transmission options: a 12-speed synchromesh and a 12-speed partial power shift. The tractor supports two- or four-wheel drive, power steering, hydraulic wet disc brakes, and a two-post ROPS with an optional cab. Hydraulics are open center with 2000 psi pressure and 8.4 gpm flow.
