J.I. Case 630

The J.I. Case 630 is a utility tractor produced from 1960 to 1963 by J.I. Case at factories in Rock Island, Illinois and Racine, Wisconsin, USA. A total of 1,181 units were built. It features a 3.1L 4-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine with 188.4 ci displacement, rated at 2250 RPM and 17.5:1 compression ratio. Transmission options include 8-speed torque converter, 12-speed, 8-speed, and 4-speed gear types, with the Case-o-matic torque converter transmission offering 8 forward and 2 reverse gears. The tractor delivers 50 hp belt power (claimed), 43.71 hp drawbar (tested), and 48.85 hp PTO (tested). It has two-wheel drive, power assist steering, mechanical dry disc brakes, and an open operator station. Hydraulics are Dual-Control type, and it uses a Case Eagle Hitch.
