J.I. Case VA

The J.I. Case VA was a standard-tread tractor produced from 1942 to 1955 by J.I. Case in Rock Island, Illinois, USA. It replaced the V series and was available in multiple variants including row-crop, industrial, orchard, warehouse, and high-clearance models. Early engines were made by Continental. The VA series was the first Case tractor to use the Eagle Hitch introduced in 1949. It featured a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine available in distillate and gasoline versions, a 4-speed unsynchronized transmission, and two-wheel drive with manual steering. The tractor had a wheelbase of 75.25 inches, weighed 3200 lbs, and had a fuel tank capacity of 9.25 gallons. It was equipped with a rear PTO and a belt pulley for power take-off applications.
