Caterpillar D3B

The Caterpillar D3B is a bulldozer manufactured by Caterpillar from 1979 to 1987. It features a 65 hp (48.5 kW) Caterpillar 3204 5.2L 4-cylinder diesel engine with direct injection and a 3-speed power shift transmission. The D3B is a crawler-type tractor with spur gear final drives and a four-post ROPS, with an optional cab featuring heat and air-conditioning. It has a fuel capacity of 30 gallons and a hydraulic system capacity of 15 gallons, operating at 2500 psi pressure with a pump flow of 14.5 gpm. The tractor weighs between 11,300 and 15,160 pounds and rides on 12-inch wide tracks. The D3B can be equipped with a 95-inch wide Caterpillar 3P front-mount blade with hydraulic lift and optional hydraulic angle control.
