Caterpillar D3G

The Caterpillar D3G is a bulldozer manufactured by Caterpillar from 2001 to 2007. It features a 5.0L 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine producing 77 hp gross and 70 hp net. The D3G uses a hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse speeds and a crawler drive with double-reduction outboard planetary final drives. It has a four-post ROPS with an optional cab with air-conditioning. Fuel capacity is 43.6 gallons, and the hydraulic system holds 12 gallons. The bulldozer is available with 16-inch XL or 25-inch LGP tracks, with operating weights ranging from 16,227 to 17,160 pounds depending on configuration.
