The Caterpillar D5G is a bulldozer manufactured by Caterpillar from 2001 to 2007. It features a 5.0L 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine producing 99 hp gross and 90 hp net. The tractor uses a hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears and a crawler drive. It has a fuel capacity of 48.6 gallons and a hydraulic system capacity of 12 gallons. The D5G is equipped with 20-inch XL tracks or optional 26-inch LGP tracks, with various ground pressure and area specifications. Dimensions include a length of 125.4 inches, VPAT dozer length of 170.7 inches, and operating weight of 19,630 lbs.
