Chery RF404

The Chery RF404 is a compact utility tractor produced since 2012 by Chery in China. It features a Changchai 2.5L 4-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine producing 40 hp (29.8 kW) gross power, with a direct injection fuel system and oil bath air cleaner. The tractor has an 8-speed sliding gear transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears, and a 203mm dry disc clutch. It is equipped with four-wheel drive, mechanical rear differential lock, hydraulic power steering, and optional pneumatic brakes. The operator station is open with optional ROPS and canopy. The tractor hitch includes position and float control with a rear lift capacity of 1495 lbs (678 kg) at 24 inches (610 mm), and a fixed drawbar with an optional swinging drawbar. The rear PTO is transmission-driven with standard 540/730 rpm and optional 540/1000 rpm speeds. Dimensions include a 71.6 inch (181 cm) wheelbase, 130.4 inch (331 cm) length, 61.0 inch (154 cm) width, 100.6 inch (255 cm) height, and a weight of 3086 lbs (1399 kg). Ground clearance is 13.2 inches (33 cm). Standard agricultural tires are 7.50-16 front and 12.4-24 rear. Electrical system is 12 volts with negative ground.
