Cub Cadet industrial tractors

The Cub Cadet brand originated as the garden tractor division of International Harvester, which was acquired by MTD in 1981. In 1993, Cub Cadet began importing Mitsubishi compact tractors into North America. Later, in 2006, MTD partnered with Yanmar to market Yanmar compact tractors under the Cub Cadet Yanmar brand. This agreement was revised in 2011, leading to Yanmar America taking over full control of the tractors, resulting in the discontinuation of the Cub Cadet name for this line.
