Fahr was a German company known for producing tractors and combines, and it is now a part of SAME Deutz-Fahr. Founded in the 1870s, Fahr started manufacturing tractors in 1938. After World War II, the production of Fahr tractors saw significant growth. In 1961, Deutz AG initiated a takeover of Fahr, which led to the cessation of tractor production, and eventually, the establishment of the Deutz-Fahr brand in 1977.
