The Hesston 766 is a utility tractor produced from 1983 to 1984 by Hesston, a part of Fiat. Built in Modena, Italy, it features a Fiat 3.7L 4-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine delivering a claimed 70 hp PTO power. The tractor offers a 12-speed transmission with 12 forward and 4 reverse gears, and is available in 2WD and 4WD (766DT) configurations. It includes a four-post ROPS with an optional canopy, open center hydraulics with one valve, and a category II rear hitch. The PTO is independent with a 540 rpm rear PTO type.
