Hesston lawn tractors

In the early 1970s, Hesston produced the Front Runner series of front-mount mowers. This mower line was created by Wood Brothers Manufacturing, a company that Hesston acquired in 1969. Hesston continued to manufacture these mowers in Indianapolis until 1976, when the Hesston lawn equipment division was sold to Toro.
