Hinomoto was the brand name for tractors manufactured by Toyosha in Japan. Toyosha's origins date back to 1863, when Denzou Tanoue began making plows. Hinomoto's compact tractors were introduced in the late 1950s and have since been exported globally. In 1990, Toyosha was acquired by Hitachi Construction Machinery, which rebranded the products as Tierra in 1997.
