The Kubota B5100 is a sub-compact utility tractor produced from 1978 to 1984 by Kubota in Japan. It features a 12 hp liquid-cooled 2-cylinder diesel engine, a 6-speed unsynchronized transmission, and is available in both 2WD and 4WD variants. The tractor offers mechanical rear differential lock, manual steering, mechanical wet disc brakes, and an open operator station with an optional two-post fixed ROPS. It has a rear Type I hitch with a 300 lbs lift capacity and PTO options including rear transmission-driven 540/1000 and front 3000 RPM PTO. The B5100 is designed for versatility in small-scale farming and landscaping tasks.
