The Kubota GL-400 is a compact utility tractor produced from 1995 to 1998 as part of the GL Series. It features a Kubota V2203 2.2L 4-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine producing 40 hp (29.8 kW) at 2600 RPM. The tractor has a 16-speed transmission with 16 forward and reverse gears, four-wheel drive, power steering, and a two-post ROPS with an optional cab. It has a fuel tank capacity of 13.2 gallons (50.0 L) and a rear JIS1 type hitch. The rear PTO operates at 540 RPM with various engine RPM settings.
