The Lanz 700 is a farm tractor produced from 1962 to 1966 by Lanz, a part of John Deere, built in Mannheim, Germany. It features a John Deere 2.7L 4-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine producing 53 hp (39.5 kW) at 2400 rpm. The tractor has a 10-speed constant mesh transmission with 10 forward and 3 reverse gears. It is a two-wheel drive with manual steering and disc brakes, and an open operator station. The tractor includes an open center hydraulic system with 2200 psi pressure and 4.2 gpm pump flow. The rear hitch is type II with a lift capacity of 1764 lbs (800 kg). The PTO offers rear 540/1000 rpm and a standard mid PTO at 1000 rpm.
