The Great Minneapolis Line was the brand name utilized by the Minneapolis Threshing Machine Company for its collection of threshing machines and tractors. Established in 1887, the company initially sold steam engines sourced from Huber and Allis before developing its own designs. In 1910, Minneapolis ventured into the gasoline tractor market, producing a variety of models with horsepower reaching up to 80. However, the Great Depression significantly affected Minneapolis Threshing Machine, prompting it to merge with Minneapolis Steel & Machinery and Moline Plow in 1929 to create Minneapolis-Moline.
