Oliver 1855

The Oliver 1855 is a row-crop tractor produced from 1969 to 1975 as part of the 55 Series by Oliver, a part of White. It features a choice of Oliver-Waukesha 5.1L 6-cylinder diesel or gasoline engines, with claimed PTO power of up to 98 hp. The tractor offers two transmission options: a 6-speed gear and an 18-speed partial power shift with Hydraul-Shift technology. It has two- or four-wheel drive, power steering, and differential hydraulic disc brakes. The open operator station has optional two-post ROPS and cab. Hydraulics are closed center with a 20 gpm pump flow. The tractor hitch supports rear types I/II and optional II/III with rear lift capacities up to 6,000 lbs. The rear PTO is independent with multiple speed options. Dimensions vary between 2WD and 4WD models, with weights around 11,150 lbs. The 1855 shares its series with the 1755 and 1955 models.
