Rába, a Hungarian manufacturer, produced trucks, rail vehicles, and agricultural tractors. The company began manufacturing farm tractors in the 1930s; however, production was largely redirected towards military equipment during World War II. In 1974, Rába returned to the agricultural tractor market in partnership with the American company Steiger. The Rába-Steiger four-wheel drive tractors were produced until the 1990s. Today, Rába remains active in the industry, focusing on the construction of heavy vehicle chassis and components.
