Simplicity 4040 PowrMax

The Simplicity 4040 PowrMax is a garden tractor introduced in 1972 as part of the PowrMax Series. It features a 16.5 hp Onan 816cc 2-cylinder gasoline engine with a hydrostatic Sundstrand 15 transmission offering infinite forward and reverse speeds in 3 ranges. The tractor has a wheelbase of 56 inches and weighs 1300 lbs. It includes two-wheel drive, manual steering, disc brakes, and an open operator station.
