Simplicity Landlord 101

The Simplicity Landlord 101 is a garden tractor introduced in 1966 as part of the Landlord Series. It features a 10 hp Briggs & Stratton 392cc 1-cylinder gasoline engine with electric start and a 12-volt battery. The tractor offers transmission options of 3-speed or 6-speed gearboxes, with the 3-speed being shaft-driven and the 6-speed providing an optional High-Low range speed kit. It has a wheelbase of 44.5 inches and weighs 680 lbs. The Landlord 101 includes mid PTO with an independent clutch and mechanical idler pulley. It supports various attachments including 32" and 42" mid-mount mower decks, a 46" front-mount blade, and a 36" front-mount snow blower. The tractor is two-wheel drive with manual steering and mechanical band brakes, designed with an open operator station. It was built in Port Washington, Wisconsin, USA by Simplicity, a part of Allis Chalmers.
