Turner Manufacturing was a British company that produced a variety of products throughout the 20th century. Following World War II, Turner shifted its focus to manufacturing diesel engines and developed the Turner Yeoman tractor to make use of their V4 diesel engine. Although tractor production ceased within a decade, the company continued to manufacture engines and other industrial equipment until it was sold to Dana in 1978. In 1996, Caterpillar acquired the transmission division and revived the Turner Powertrain brand.
