Waltanna produced large four-wheel drive tractors in southern Australia during the 1970s and 1980s. The company was founded by James Nagorcka, a farmer from Victoria, who constructed his first tractor on his farm in 1975. By the 1980s, Waltanna had expanded its offerings to include a variety of tractors. In the mid-1980s, Ford partnered with Waltanna to manufacture the Ford FW series four-wheel drive tractors. However, due to shifts in the market, Nagorcka decided to cease tractor production in 1989 and shift his focus to other business opportunities.
