White FR-18 Turf Boss

The White FR-18 Turf Boss is a front-mount mower lawn tractor introduced in 1996 by White, a part of MTD. It features an 18 hp Briggs & Stratton gasoline engine with air-cooled horizontal-shaft opposed-twin design. The tractor uses a hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears. It has a 3x2 2WD drive and an open operator station. The front PTO is independent with an electro-magnetic clutch. The tractor weighs 600 lbs (272 kg) without the mower deck and rides on 18x9.50-8 front tires and 16x6.50-8 rear tires. Attachments include 52" and 62" front-mount mower decks, a 51" two-stage snowblower, and a 54" blade, all front-mount.
