White 2-85

The White 2-85 is a row-crop tractor produced by White from 1976 to 1982 as part of the Field Boss Series. It features a Perkins 5.8L 6-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine with direct injection, delivering an estimated 77.8 hp. The tractor offers two transmission options: a 6-speed unsynchronized gear and an 18-speed three-speed power shift. It has a PTO power of 85 hp claimed and tested at 85.54 hp. The tractor supports two- or four-wheel drive, power steering, and independent hydraulic dry disc brakes. Hydraulics are closed center with 2200 psi pressure and 20 gpm pump flow. The hitch is draft sensing with rear types II and optional III, capable of lifting 4000 lbs standard or 6000 lbs optional.
