The White Workhorse 170 is a row-crop tractor produced by White from 1990 to 1992 as part of the Workhorse Series. It features a CDC-Cummins 8.3L 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine delivering approximately 160 hp PTO claimed power. The tractor offers an 18-speed partial power shift transmission with 18 forward and 6 reverse gears. It is available in two- or four-wheel drive configurations with hydraulic rear differential lock, power steering, and independent hydraulic wet disc brakes.
