The Wisconsin Tractor was created by the McFarlane family. Following the relocation of their blacksmith and farm equipment business from Lodi to Sauk City, Wisconsin, they started manufacturing farm tractors. The company produced almost 500 tractors before production ceased in 1925 due to crop failures and the subsequent loss of payments. Today, the McFarlane family business continues to operate, focusing on farm machinery and metal fabrication.
