Yard-Man 14918

The Yard-Man 14918 is a garden tractor produced from 1977 to 1981 by Yard-Man, a part of MTD. It features a 16 hp Briggs & Stratton 655cc 2-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with electric start and a 3-gallon fuel tank. The tractor uses a Peerless 2337 16-speed variator transmission with 16 forward and 4 reverse gears. It has two-wheel drive, manual steering, disc brakes, and an open operator station. The PTO is a mid PTO, independent type with a manual clutch. The tractor weighs 850 lbs (385 kg) and rides on 16x6.50 front and 23x9.50 rear lawn/turf tires. Attachments include 42" and 50" mid-mount mower decks, a snowblower, and a blade. The 14918 model is a variator variant related to the 14916 gear variant.
