Yard-Man 999

The Yard-Man 999 is a garden tractor produced from 1995 to 1998 as part of the 900 Series by Yard-Man, a part of MTD. It features a 22 hp Kohler 624cc 2-cylinder gasoline engine, a shaft-driven hydrostatic Eaton transmission with infinite forward and reverse speeds, and two-wheel drive with manual steering. The tractor has a wheelbase of 53 inches and uses 18x6.50-8 front tires and 27x9.50-15 rear tires. It includes an open operator station and optional rear hitch. The PTO is a manual clutch independent mid PTO with a pulley type. Attachments include 50" and 60" mid-mount mower decks with hydraulic lift and right discharge. Original price was $5,500 in 1996.
