Zetor 8040

The Zetor 8040 is a 4WD farm tractor produced from 2008 to 2011 as part of the Silver Series. It features a 4.2L turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 78 hp net and 82 hp gross, with a 12-speed synchronized transmission. The tractor includes mechanical rear and limited-slip front differential locks, power steering, hydraulic wet disc brakes, and a two-post folding ROPS with optional air-conditioned cab. It has a wheelbase of 89 inches, weighs between 7840 and 8340 lbs depending on configuration, and uses 11.2-24 front and 16.9-30 rear tires. Hydraulics are open center with up to 20 gpm total flow. The tractor supports rear PTO at 540 rpm and has a rear hitch with position and draft control. Optional front-end loaders include the 120K and 120SLi models with various lift and breakout capacities.
