Ariens Imperial 3ML

The Ariens Imperial 3ML is a 1961 riding lawn mower from the Emperor Series, built in Brillion, Wisconsin, USA. It features a 5.5 hp Lauson 1-cylinder air-cooled vertical-shaft gasoline engine with manual recoil and optional electric starter. The transmission is a Disc-O-Matic friction disc type with 4 forward and 1 reverse gears. It has two-wheel drive, manual steering, mechanical band brakes, and an open operator station. The mower includes a mid PTO with an independent mechanical idler clutch. Tires are sized 10x2.75 front and 4.00x8 rear. Attachments available include 26" and 32" mid-mount mower decks and a 30" front-mount blade.
