The Belarus 5260 is a farm tractor produced starting in 1996 as part of the 5200 Series by Belarus. It features a 4.8L 4-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine (Belarus D242) with direct injection and a rated PTO power of 65 hp (48.5 kW). The tractor offers an 18-speed transmission with 18 forward and 4 reverse gears, a dry disc clutch, and hydraulic rear differential lock. It is available in two- or four-wheel drive configurations with hydrostatic power steering and mechanical dry disc brakes. The tractor has a four-post ROPS with an optional cab. Fuel capacity is 28.6 gallons (108.3 L) and the hydraulic system capacity is 4.8 gallons (18.2 L) with a live open center system.
