The Belarus LTZ-400 is a row-crop tractor produced from 1972 to 1978 by Belarus in Lipetsk, Russia. It features a Vladimir 4.1L 4-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine producing 55 hp (41.0 kW) at 1800 RPM with 161.5 lb-ft (219.0 Nm) torque at 1050 RPM. The tractor has a 12-speed transmission with 12 forward and reverse gears, two-wheel drive, power assist steering, band brakes, and a standard cab.
