The CaseIH 485 is a utility tractor produced from 1985 to 1991 as part of the 85 Utility Series. Built in Doncaster, England, it features a 2.9L 3-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine delivering 53 hp (39.5 kW). It offers two transmission options: an 8-speed synchromesh and a 16-speed partial power shift. The tractor supports two- or four-wheel drive with hydrostatic power steering and a two-post ROPS. It has a fuel capacity of 20 gallons and a hydraulic system capacity of 9 gallons with an open center type and 1 or 2 valves. The rear hitch supports types I and II with a lift capacity of 2,338 lbs.
