Cockshutt 1955
The Cockshutt 1955 is a row-crop tractor produced from 1970 to 1975 as part of the 55 Series. It is the same model as the Oliver 1955. It features an Oliver-Waukesha 5.1L turbocharged 6-cylinder diesel engine, with a fuel tank capacity of 35 gallons. The tractor offers two transmission options: a 6-speed gear and an 18-speed partial power shift Hydraul-Shift. It has two- or four-wheel drive, power steering, and differential hydraulic dry disc brakes. The operator station is open with optional two-post ROPS and cab. Hydraulics are closed center with a 20 gpm pump flow. The rear hitch is type II/III with a 6000 lbs lift capacity. The rear PTO is independent with a 1000 rpm type.
