The Cockshutt 30 was the first production tractor built in Canada. It was produced from 1946 to 1957 as a row-crop tractor. It was the first production tractor with a live PTO system. It features a Buda 2.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, a 4-speed gear transmission with an optional 8-speed hi-low transmission, and two-wheel drive. The tractor has mechanical contracting band brakes and an open operator station. It has a fuel capacity of 15 gallons and a hydraulic system capacity of 1.5 gallons. The rear PTO is live and operates at 540 RPM. The tractor weighs 3,620 lbs operating weight and 5,528 lbs ballasted. Tires are 5.50-16 front and 11-38 rear. Electrical system is 6 volts with positive ground.
