The Cockshutt Golden Arrow was a demonstration tractor built in 1957 to showcase the new draft-sensing three-point hitch system. It combined the hitch, rear end, and transmission of the model 550 with the model 35 chassis. A total of 135 experimental units were built in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. The original plan was to recall and rebuild all Golden Arrows into model 550 tractors, but many were never returned to the factory.
