Colt lawn tractors
Colt Manufacturing was established by brothers Warren and Wally Johnson in approximately 1962. The Johnsons were innovators in the implementation of hydraulic drives for their tractors. In 1963, the production was relocated from Milwaukee to Winneconne, Wisconsin. The subsequent year, Case acquired Colt, and tractors were marketed through Colt distributors under both the Case and Colt names. By 1966, the Colt brand was discontinued, and lawn tractors were exclusively sold under the Case name through Case dealers.
