The Colt 2712 is a garden tractor introduced in 1966 as part of the 2000 Series by Colt, built in Winneconne, Wisconsin, USA. It features a 12 hp Tecumseh HH-120 452cc 1-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine, hydraulic Hydra-Drive transmission with infinite forward and reverse speeds in two ranges, and two-wheel drive with manual steering and Hydra-Brake brakes. The tractor has a wheelbase of 46 inches, length of 70 inches, width of 43 inches, and weighs 775 lbs. It uses 4.00x8 front and 8.00x16 rear agricultural tires. Electrical system includes a 12-volt starter-generator charging system with negative ground. The tractor hitch is a rigid drawbar with three holes.
