County 1164

The County 1164 was produced from 1971 to 1976 by County in Fleet, England. It was based on the gearbox and transmission from the Ford 5000 and the engine from the Ford 8000. It features a Ford 6.6L 6-cylinder diesel engine producing 116 hp (86.5 kW) with an 8-speed gear transmission. The tractor has 4x4 4WD drive with planetary final drives and mechanical differential locks front and rear. It includes power steering, wet disc brakes, and a standard cab with an optional open platform. The hydraulics system is open center with 2500 psi pressure and 6.3 gpm pump flow. The rear hitch is type II with top-link draft sensing and a rear lift capacity of 3858.8 lbs (1750 kg). The PTO is independent with 540/1000 RPM options.
