The Cub Cadet 1710 is a 1985 garden tractor built in Brownsville, Tennessee, USA by Cub Cadet (a part of MTD). It features a 17 hp Kohler KT-17 II 691cc 2-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with a carburetor fuel system and electric starter. The tractor uses a shaft-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears. It has two-wheel drive, manual steering, and disc brakes with an open operator station. Dimensions include a 44 inch wheelbase, 72 inch length, and 43 inch height at the steering wheel, weighing 700 lbs. Tires are 16x6.50-8 front and 23x10.50-12 rear.
