The Cub Cadet 1720 is a lawn tractor produced from 1988 to 1991 by Cub Cadet, a part of MTD. It features a 17 hp Kohler MV18 691cc 2-cylinder gasoline engine with air-cooled vertical shaft design. The tractor uses a belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse speeds. It has two-wheel drive, manual steering, and dry disc brakes. The operator station is open.
