The Cub Cadet 514 is a riding lawn mower introduced in 1985 by Cub Cadet, a part of MTD. It features an 8 hp Briggs & Stratton 1-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with a 1.5 gallon fuel tank. The mower uses a 6-speed belt-driven CVT transmission by MTD Transmatic, providing 6 forward and reverse gears. It has two-wheel drive, manual steering, and disc brakes with an open operator station. The mower is equipped with a mid PTO that is independent and manually clutched. Tires are lawn/turf type sized 11.00x4.10 front and 13.00x5.00 rear.
