The Cub Cadet 72 is a garden tractor produced from 1967 to 1969 by Cub Cadet, a part of International Harvester. It features a 7 hp Kohler K-161 266cc 1-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine, a 3-speed shaft-driven gear transmission with an optional 6-speed creeper, and two-wheel drive with manual steering. The tractor includes dry disc brakes and an open operator station with a steel pan seat. Hydraulics are optional with 400 psi pressure and 2.5 gpm pump flow. It has a Cub Cadet three-point hitch and both front and rear PTOs with dry disc and mechanical clutches respectively. Dimensions include a 43-inch wheelbase, 64-inch length, and 555 lbs weight.
