David Brown 2D

The David Brown 2D is a tool carrier tractor produced from 1956 to 1961 in Meltham Mills, Huddersfield, England. It features a 1.3L 2-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine producing 14.1 hp (10.5 kW), a 4-speed gear transmission with dry disc clutch, and two-wheel drive with manual steering. The tractor includes mechanical internal expanding brakes and an open operator station. It has a pneumatic mid lift tractor hitch and optional live rear PTO with 540 rpm and mid PTO with 560 rpm. Dimensions include a 72 inch (182 cm) wheelbase, 116.5 inch (295 cm) length, 67 inch (170 cm) minimum width, 55 inch (139 cm) height, and a weight of 1900 lbs (861 kg).
